Vivvie's Christmas Recital

Vivvie had her annual Christmas recital this past December.  Her class danced to "All I Want for Christmas is You" and they were all so darling!  Here's Viv and Ella at their dress rehearsal a few days before the show...

The dance studio doesn't do matching costumes for the Christmas recital.  Instead, they give the parents a color scheme and some samples of what they're sort of looking for, and then the parents find their own costumes.  It's a pain in the butt because...let's be honest...it's just one more thing to add to the December "to do" list, but it's kind of fun to see the variety of outfits that everyone comes up with.  They all look different, but all still go together...

Oh, and that she gets to wear makeup.  This girl loves makeup...

Vivvie loves dancing and going to dance class.  It probably doesn't hurt that she has so many friends in her dance class.  That's the icing on the cake!  She'll have another recital in June.  It's fun to finally be attending dance recitals.  Love my ballerina girl!!  --Lindsay
