Well, this past week has been a crazy one. So crazy, in fact, that I haven't had a single second to blog. So, here it all is in a nutshell:
Sunday:
On Sunday, we woke up to about 4" of new snow on the lawn. I love when it snows in the fall because it sticks to the grass, but melts on the roads and sidewalks. Does it get any better than that? Anyway, the boys begged to go outside, so we let them. Connor had a blast making snow angels...

And, throwing snowballs at Mike. He got him pretty good a few times...

Aiden liked the snow at first...

But, after falling down and realizing how cold snow is, he didn't like it so much anymore...

That didn't stop the fun though. Aiden came inside to the master bedroom & watched out the window. Once Mike & Connor saw him standing there, they decided to throw snowballs at the window. Aiden LOVED it. He laughed & laughed. I guess Aiden feels the same way I do...snow is a lot of fun from the comforts of a 72 degree house.

It was a really fun time for all! Later that day, after church, Nana & Poppy came over for dinner & then babysat the boys while Mike & I went and spoke at our "Chastity" fireside. Mike and I kept asking ourselves, "How did we get roped into this?" It was interesting to say the least. How do you talk to a group of 12 through 18-year-olds about S - E - X? (You have to spell it out like that so that when all the sicko porn people google it, they don't pull up your site.) Anyway, it went as well as can be expected. We did an anonymous Q & A at the end, and there were a lot of good questions...so hopefully, we struck a cord or two. Anyway, it's over and done now...and that's all that matters!
Monday:
On Monday, Mike left for Washington D. C. He had to go back there and make a couple of presentations on his missile program to some navy people. He was in meetings all day everyday, but he did have some time in the evenings to do a little sight seeing. I really wish I had gone with him...

Tuesday:
Tuesday was a busy day. I had to work the evening shows, plus I had girls night too. So, after the 6:00 show got over, I headed down to Gardner Village and met up with the gals for a little while. I was only able to stay for about a hour, but it was a lot of fun. We went to dinner at Archibald's and did a little shopping while I was there. I totally recommend the Potato Cheese Soup! Oh, and there are no pictures because Mike had the camera in D.C.
Wednesday:
I went to the grocery store and worked the evening shows again. Woo hoo! I have such a thrilling life!
Thursday:
I tried to get caught up on my housework that hadn't been done all week long, but it didn't work very well. Which begs the question...how does a house get so messy when no one has been home all week? It's one of those mysteries that science will never be able to explain! Mike got home at about 11:30 that night. YEAH!!! I totally missed him...plus, I was sick of being a single, working parent! I don't know how anyone does it!!!
Friday (Today):
I have been enjoying a little peace and quiet! Aiden is currently asleep & Connor is off with Mike's parents for a day full of fun! Connor's birthday is on Sunday, but Mike's dad will be flying that day (he's a pilot for Southwest Airlines), so they decided to kidnap him today & take him to Cornbelly's at Thanksgiving Point. I guess I'll have more on that outing next time! As for me, I think I might actually sit down & read for awhile, or maybe just take a nap! I need it after the week I've had! --Lindsay
