Giving Thanks
Thanksgiving was so wonderful this year! I loved every second of it!! A very blustery storm moved through the night before, so we woke up to a snow-plastered house. It's always fun to see your house look like a real life gingerbread house. One of the perks from the famous wind we get where we live...
We went to Nana and Poppy's house for Thanksgiving dinner. While there, someone mentioned that Connor is definitely taller than me now. He's been taller than me for a month or two, but it was close enough that I could pretend we were the same height. I can't pretend that anymore. He is definitely taller than me. It's really weird when someone you gave birth to becomes taller than you...
Here's our Thanksgiving feast! It was so delicious...
The kids' table...
My plate full of yumminess. Everything tasted so good...
The adult table...
That evening, the whole family went to see the new Disney movie "Moana". We all loved it! It is a great movie, and the music is to die for...
After the movie, we went back to Nana and Poppy's house to eat pie, play games, and some of us fell asleep...
It was a perfect day from start to finish! So grateful that we have this day set aside each year to spend time with family, eat yummy food, and think about how much God has blessed us. Happy Thanksgiving! --Lindsay
