Vivvie's Cake Smash Photo Shoot

A good friend of mine from BYU, Alysha Lambourne, owns her own photography business (Lambourne Photography). She offered to do a "cake smash" photo shoot with Vivvie for her first birthday. Viv was not in much of a picture-taking mood that morning. She cried for about 95% of the time & didn't want to get into her cake at all. In fact, anytime she would get anything on her hands--frosting, cake, etc.--she would cry even more. Luckily, about 30 minutes into the photo session, she decided to lighten up a little bit, so we were able to get a few cute pictures of her. And, thanks to Alysha's mad Photoshop skills, you can't even see Vivvie's tear-stained face. I think they turned out pretty cute. Take a look...

I think the last one is my favorite. Just to look at it, you'd think she was in the best mood of her life. Little does anyone know, right? A huge thank you to Alysha for offering to do the photo shoot, and for putting up with a crying baby & a crazy three-year-old brother that tagged along! --Lindsay
